Lord Direct Your Heart
II Thessalonians 3:5 (NKJV) Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
God wants to direct your heart. He will do that only if you allow him to. Many people think that God just does whatever he wants, but that is not true. He has given us authority and dominion here on earth and he is a gentleman, so he will never push his way into your life. His own law requires that we ask him. That is the purpose of prayer and why it is so important. If you want God to direct your heart, ask him to. He wants to direct you into a life of love for him and others. He wants you to be able to have patience and wait with a good, sweet, positive attitude. This scripture is a good one to pray for yourself. Make it personal. Ask the Lord to direct your heart, and he will be happy to.
